We interface with government and aid donors to encourage them to channel aid
through NGOs which have demonstrated commitment to Transparency,
Responsibility, Accountability, Competence and Ethics.
As part of the Canadian government’s commitment to the Millennium Development
Goals, we encourage the Federal government to include aid spending by NGOs
towards the 0.7 GNI target.
We report on aid effectiveness in development projects.
We advise recipient governments to implement Transparency, Responsibility,
Accountability, Competence and Ethics in their systems as a condition for continued
aid support from donors.
